Dr. Goodyear graduated from a BSN program in 1959 and has continued to pursue her education and career goals in the profession of Nursing. Today after 40+ years as a staff nurse, school nurse, educator of students at the baccalaureate and graduate levels and owner of a private Family Nurse Practitioner practice, Dr. Goodyear has launched NurseConsultantAssociates.com. An ongoing program of professional development has been inherent since graduation from my BS program. Post basic courses at the University of Texas for the role of school nurse were pursued prior to my return to graduate school.
